For sale my restored Peugeot 205 GTI 1. 9, '000s spent getting it just right to use as a daily driver during lockdown, it was a labour of love as I had one when I was younger, but I am not driving it now and need the space. Work that has been completed during lock down included:
engine / fuel tank removed and any surface rust treated
new air intake pipes
new air flow meter
new suspension ball joints, drop links at the front
new suspension struts front and rear shock absorbers
new drivers door hinges
refurbished brakes front and rear - calipers and hoses
interior refurbished - leather left original, material replaced with new, and also new seat bolsters fitted - the seats are lovely and supportive, just like new
prior to my ownership the vehicle has been resprayed to a good standard and as can be seen is still in great condition and shines up beautifully
no rust on the vehicle see pictures of underneath
good tyres
immaculate unmarked speedline alloys all round
12 month MoT just passed no advisories
the idle sometimes hunts a bit, but nothing serious
the drive is lovely and the engine is tight, powerfull, quiet and uses no oil
the gearbox is smooth and works well, I have a quickshift that I never got round to fitting that will come with the car
The exhaust is almost new
parcel shelf doesn't have the usual holes in it
I will reinstall the original stereo that came with the car and remove the aftermarket system fitted
The aerial is a dab aerial
brand new battery just purchased
Original service book and manual and receipts for the work undertaken on the car.
I bought it at a classic auction just before lockdown and it has a totally clear HPI report.

This is a lovely car in great condition and a genuinely appreciating asset that is just so much fun to drive. Driving it now, it feels just like the car that I owned in the early 90's. It is a go cart, it also looks stunning and is in great condition, I haven't taken it to shows but it would not be out of place, even the engine bay is great. When I had the interior refurbished, I replaced the shabby material on the seats, but left the leather as it has a lovelt patina, no damage but great patina. I need the space as I am about to lose my garage as I am building a house where my garage is, so regrettably it needs to find a new home.
