1992 Talbot Express Avalon Camper Motorhome

If you are looking for the cleanest classic campervan on the market, this is probably it. I don't know about you, but I don't want to inherit someone elses dirt. We have spent literally scores of hours improving this van for the next owner. We have carefully refurbished everything as necessary over many months with new carpets and flooring, new carpet to the roof and side areas, the seats have been deep cleaned, the new oven is spotless as are the hob and the fridge. The shower tray is sparkling and the toilet is perfectly clean, including the cassette. The cupboards and drawers are all ready to use.

You won't find any green on the roof, or in the water channels. Even under the bonnet is clean as it should be. It has two new batteries. The exterior of the vehicle is very bright indeed having been polished with Maguiars polish and then their amazing ceramic wax... the idea being that rain water just rolls off.

Suffice it to say, it may not be cheap, but it is good. It is showing 54000 miles and was owned by an elderly couple prior to us buying it, who did their last tour of Scotland in it before calling it a day. They had owned it for the last 9 years and loved it, spending out regardless of cost to keep it maintained each year. Mechanically it is spot on, starts very easily and drives superbly. The MOT came out with no advisories.

I have a huge file full of manuals, books, receipts, instructions etc which will be left in the van when you buy it.

Here is a list of some of the work that has been done to bring it up to its present standard:

2 x new window caddys and winders.
New sliding door handle and lock.
New stereo speakers.
New awning ends.
Fresh oil and filter.
New fuel filter.
New air filter.
Radiator flush with new coolant.
Differential oil topped up.
2 x new batteries: vehicle and leisure.
Commercial grade flooring fitted.
Wall carpet stripped out and reupholstered in new matching carpet.

So if you want a camper that you don't have to treat as a project, but can just jump in and go travelling, this is it.
