After a lifetime of Land Rover ownership my Dad has finally accepted some of them have got to go and this one has only done 5000 miles in the last 5 years, mainly because he and more particularly his partner are struggling to climb in and out these days , they’ll continue to use his Discovery for a little while longer, but I fear a Freelander could be on the cards. After all, if it was good enough for HRH Duke of Edinburgh!
The Defender is a very nice example and has mostly been used to tow his Series 1 or Triumph TR4 between French and English homes. It’s had a recent clutch, new sump and EGR set up with receipts in the history folder. It’s had regular services and oil changes by the local garage and a Land Rover Specialist run by his friend in Brittany. It only has one previous owner before my Dad and the condition reflects this.
