The Jaguar drives we'll, and has no oil or water leaks, and it doesn't burn oil with a clean exhaust appearance, and a lovely exhaust note. It has a good gearbox and clutch and has overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears.
It has a good looking and original red interior, with original headcloth, and has had the chrome wire wheel and disc brake modification carried out in the past.
It had some paint resto done approximately 5 years ago, but the finish is good, as well as the chrome work.
The woodwork above the dashboard needs repolishing, but that might be done before sale.
To finalise, the car is in good condition with the chassis, sills, floor pans, all intact and rust free, the rear spring boxes are good, as well as the inner wings, front skirt, in fact all stress points are as good as they should be. If my wife was going to keep it for another 4 or 5 years, we would have invested in a power steering upgrade which can be as much as £2000, but she was diagnosed with lung cancer in February so she can't do what she used to do so we must sell "Sir Mick", the name she gave it, a play on Mick Jagger.
It's a good, honest car, with more life left in it than we have.

We bought it as it has always been a classic car that we have wanted to own and drive, and we have done that, we carried out 3 weddings as my wife loves to watch a wedding ceremony, so we have done that, been up the Northumberland coast and enjoyed the admiration we get from everyone that sees this lovely example, it isn't a concours de Eligance, but it is a lovely example that could be if you have the money to go down that route.
