BSA A10 Golden Flash 1958 DA10.
Original paint bike mechanically refreshed to retain the lovely patina.
Purchased by me c. 14 years ago as a ‘barn find’ – previously last on the road in 1976!
A very original bike, gone through whilst focussing upon retaining originality.
Original log-book and Reg number retained and a few nice period brochures and documents from BSA.
First sold by Strand Motorcycles in Haringay and spent its early years in Herts.
Replaced parts include Hawker rebuilt Magneto and dynamo, bike partly rewired, gearbox professionally rebuilt, Lyford updated clutch, new Amal carb, new chain, tyres and tubes, bars and cables, shocks and front suspension sliders. Some spares also included.
Rides well and gets more positive attention than a shiny one
