This 1967 Matchless G80CS is one of the very last to be manufactured at the factory in Plumstead, London and very few of these come up for sale. As will be seen by the photos it is in fabulous condition and retains many of its original parts and finishes. We believe it has undergone a limited restoration when the fuel tank was repainted and new seat fitted. It retains its original Dunlop wheel rims which have been re chromed and refurbished.

This bike was originally delivered to J. B Matchless in USA on 1st May 1967 and comes with 2 original US Title documents. It returned to the UK and was issued with a V5C registration document in May 2001. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the AJS & Matchless Owners Club confirming that the frame, engine and gearbox are all original. The V5C confirms the registration as PGV 128E and it is registered as a Historic Vehicle and is therefore free of road tax and MOT exempt. The number is non-transferable.
