73, 000 miles from new. Mot expired 14/ 10/ 2020. It is a 3. 0 V6 with VVT and producing 240 bhp.
THERE IS ONE PROBLEM ;-
When you drive for 5 minutes you get a dashboard warning of "gearbox fault" . The car then tends to stay in its lowest ratio whilst you drive. If you floor the throttle it takes off like a rocket. When you release the throttle the speed reduces slowly and the rev counter shows the gearbox moving up through the gear ratios as it works out what gear it should be in. If you stop and switch off the car and start up again the fault is gone and reappears 5 minutes later.
There is a coolant bottle from a VW Golf on this car as a temporary fit , which works well, whilst I dealt with the gearbox problem. I have owned it for 4. 5years and kept it in my shed , working on it when time permitted. It is fast and comfortable
Most of the electrics work, seats, sunroof, steering wheel adjustment, heater , Hi-fi etc. You can play your old cassettes in this car.
Interior is beige leather and walnutish. It smells great and drives well, apart from the "gearbox fault.
