1974 Honda MT250 Elsinore 2 Stroke.

Imported from the USA in April 2019 and believe only sold in the USA, launched late 1973 for sale in 1974 to 1976, a road version based on the CR250

Lightly restored by a UK enthusiast, forks rebuilt, new indicators, new rear shocks, engine seals, new clocks (originals included showing 12. 6k miles) starts first time, engine is as tight as a drum to kick over. It has a 2 stroke oil reservoir under the seat so no pre-mixing required, battery free electrical system, key on - choke and kick over, lights and indicators all fully working (as long as the engine is running of course!).

The new old stock (OEM) clocks show 131 miles since I bought it in Apr 2020. The last USA "Title" I have a copy of is for a gentleman in Adams County, Colorado, this shows the year of the bike of 1974 - the sale to him 2nd Feb 1977 by a Yamaha dealership, it was then exported to the UK April 2019, so one owner for most of it's life as far as the paper trail shows.
