Having ridden BMW touring bikes for years I was looking for something naked for a change. I searched high and low to find the right bike, finally finding this one locally. Unfortunately, being 6’1” and size 11 boots I find it a little too cramped and I’m just not using it enough to justify keeping it (just 50 miles in 7 months).
So very reluctantly I’m letting it go. It is in outstanding condition as you can see from the pictures, with just two previous owners and only 2567 miles, this bike is as near to new condition as you’ll find for one of these.
Even though the bike has only covered 737 since the last dealer service, it was done in September 2017, so I serviced it myself in February this year. I changed engine oil and filter, air filter, gearbox and axle oils and brake fluid. I removed the exhaust flow control valve, cleaned, lubricated and refitted it. I also used a GS-911 tool to complete a bleed test after the brake fluid change and a full auto scan to check for any fault codes.

So if you’re in the market for a 1200R, look no further. It may not be the cheapest available, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a better one.
