Description
I acquired this BJ8 in 1993 and, after a long restoration (including an engine rebuild and conversion to RHD) it had it's first UK MOT in 1996. It has done only 7900 miles since. The oil pressure is good, the engine sounds great and the car drives well. The overdrive was a New Old Stock unit and was fitted in 2015, it's done very little duty and works exactly as it should. After a new crown wheel and pinion set was fitted to the rear axle it has developed a very slight whine. It also has electronic ignition (hidden under the distributor cap). Of the 28 years that it's been back on the road, it has spent 26 years either in garages or car storage. It spent the last year and a half under a car cover outside and that has resulted in some paint bubbling on the wings(see image). This car is in a good useable condition, it is currently over a well lit vehicle inspection pit for the purposes of viewing. I have a heritage certificate for it, a spread of mot's over the years and a folder or receipts. Blue, £45, 000
