Description
Lovely, unique car in search of new loving owner!
Nissan Bolero March, Japanese import, only 19 left on the road in the UK (apparently).
Automatic. 1999 reg. Black.
MOT till 9th September 2024.
Much loved car - only 2 previous owners (I'm the 3rd one).
I inherited this car from my Dad which makes it a difficult sale but I really really want this lovely car to get the best chance to live on with an enthusiast – who can provide it with some TLC and a garage!
The car is smooth to drive (automatic!) and the engine & other mechanics are in good condition. This is my main car and I have been driving it regularly over the past 12 years.
Bodywork needs some TLC – some corrosion showing around the wheels (see pictures).
The under-sill area was professionally repaired in Sept 2022.
Interior is in good condition overall.
The car’s located in Greater Glasgow.
The Bolero has some unique features, most notably the grille and funky rounded headlights, front and back. This Nissan March Bolero is extremely unique. It was part of a retro series - a trend Nissan started at the time.
The Bolero has some unique retro features, most notably the grille and the little rounded headlights, front and back.
This Bolero series arrived in 1999 and was one of the few special retro models Nissan produced in the 90s (along the Tango, Rumba, and Polka).

(Much to my surprise, a pic of my car popped up on a car interest site to demonstrate what a Nissan Bolero March looks like a few years back – as they’re so rare!).
As an aside, I'll mention this car previously belonged to my late dad, Bernard, a great car enthusiast well known among lovers of classic Eastern European cars. He used to run the USSR (Unloved Soviet and Socialist Register) Club in the 90s and 2000s (this Bolero was one of the very few non-Eastern European cars my dad had ever driven!).
