For Sale is my 2001 MK1 Ford Focus 1. 8 Zetec 5dr Hatchback. Presented in metallic Light Sapphire Blue, it's a remarkably genuine, straight clean car considering it's 23 years old. There is of course the odd mark here and there consistent with its age. The mileage is 98260miles. This will increase slightly as still being used. It's had 3 previous keepers. I've owned the car since March of last year. MOT'd till the 2nd May 2025. Does have a couple of minor advisories (see photo of MOT certificate) The car drives as it should. These MK1's are really nice to drive. The air con works and blows ice cold. The car's running on Pirelli Cinturato P1 tyres all round with good tread. Dated 2021 so plenty of life left. The car was last serviced in Sept 2023 at 97437 miles and has only covered around 850 miles since. This is the main reason for sale really. I own four cars and this one is seeing little use. Front brake discs and pads were done at the same time as the service. Cambelt was done in 2021 at 83000 miles. There's an A4 folder full of receipts for work done over the years. The service history is very good too (see photos) Obviously, being an old car there are a few small negative points (if you can call them that) to be made aware of. The drivers seat bolster has a hole in it (see photo), there's a small dent in the n/ s rear wing (see photo), the rocker cover gasket has a slight oil leak (nothing overly serious), the passenger side electric window switch on the drivers door won't go down up goes up. The switch on the passenger door itself works fine. The window goes up and down as it should. The central locking has a mind of it's own sometimes. Sometimes it locks then unlocks when using the remote so can take a few attempts for the car to lock. I just put the key in the door lock and the central locking is fine then. So in summary a very tidy pre face lift MK1 Focus. Ready to use as is. Perfect car for Festival of the Unexceptional. Any questions please feel free to ask. Open to sensible offers.
