ULEZ forces reluctant sale.
TVR Griffith pre-cat 4. 0 "250" (factory gas flowed heads). Iconic, first of the Griffiths! No cats, and no power steering; the proper hairy chested TVR.
49K miles.
Never seen rain, dry stored its entire life, and only taken out in good weather, hence the original solid outriggers.
Recent work done within last 6months/ 200 miles:
-engine oil
-diff oil
-air filter
-spark plugs
-steering column upper and lower UJs
-Gaz adjustable suspension
-battery
-distributor vacuum unit
-side mirrors repaired
-refurbished dash and wheels
-new boot and hood seal
Lovely responsive engine which picks up and runs beautifully throughout rev range. None of the common idling/ shunting/ hot-start problems. No overheating or misfire or leaks. Pre-cat car, so sounds sublime even on standard exhaust.
The odd stone chip on the front end which have been touched up.
Includes Rover Gauge software and cable, and Steve Heath "bible" book.
Loved working on and driving this car, but ULEZ and Mayor Khan just being re-elected has finally forced me to give up. Half tempted to lay her up for 8 years until she becomes "historic" and therefore ULEZ exempt, but it'd be a crying shame.
Just passed MOT with no advisories. MOT until 31/ 07/ 25 (over 12 months).
Any home inspection welcome (test drives with proof of insurance).
Want to replace with a ULEZ compliant toy, before the Summer ends.
