A 1979 registered, UK specification model Honda CB550 K3 owned since 2020, restored by the current owner and ridden over 2000ml since completion in Spring 2022, a period which has included some development and upgrade work.
The V5C shows 11 previous owners but no owner history information is available. Mileage was indicated 36, 406ml at purchase by the current owner and appears to be genuine from the limited DVLA MOT history. MOT and road tax exempt as a historical vehicle.
Over £6000 spent on parts and refurbishing including a crankcase split engine rebuild and around 100 new parts. Full details of the restoration are documented in an illustrated build record and parts list/ costs sheet all of which are available on request.
This bike was in a very neglected condition when acquired and although complete, several parts still had to be replaced. It now a well sorted, very useable and reliable example of this model, which idles well and pulls smoothly throughout the rev range. Selling to create more workshop room and finance the next project. The asking price includes many rejected/ changed parts if required by the buyer.
