Description
First registered in 2012 it’s great fun. The photos reflect the really good condition. It is powered by an 1100 fuel injected Moto Guzzi California motor, gearbox and shaft drive. It also has the all important secondary reverse gearbox. It has stainless steel wheels, lights and exhausts. I’m only selling it as in retirement I seem to have accumulated too many classic cars and bikes. That’s reflected in that the Triking has done hardly any miles since it was MoTed. The current MoT expires end of July which it passed with no advisories.
There is no work required and it is just ready to use. The Triking concept is a contemporary sports car inspired by the classic cycle cars from the 1920s era and is generally accepted to the best of the contemporary designs. Triking are based in Norfolk, the first Triking was designed and built in the 1970s by Tony Divey. Tony`s enthusiasm for three wheelers and his time spent working closely with Colin Chapman at Lotus Cars culminated in his design for the Triking. This was a blend of proven design principles and race-bred technology.
It attracts attention wherever you go, a friend of mine has an original Morgan cyclecar and the Triking is so much more capable; it is significantly more powerful and with the double wishbone front suspension handles really well.
