This Mercedes C Class C200 Classic Auto was first registered on the 28th of May 1999. First registered new for the original keeper, who purchased it from London Road Mercedes, Romford, Essex. The original owner would enjoy his comfortable Mercedes for almost 22 years and covering only 9438 miles. I believe that he passed away at this time. I purchased the Mercedes from the second owner late 2022 who was emigrating and intending to take the Mercedes with him. Unfortunately, the shipping and import charges were too much and he decided to sell. The speedometer reading was just 9, 700 miles.
Ownership passed to my elderly friend during 2023. He has several classic cars and is finding it difficult to enjoy them all. Sadly, one must go. He only used the Mercedes during the summer months to visit his holiday home. Then the car was stored away in his garage over the winter months. The mileage is now standing at 12, 997. A new mot was completed in December with no advisories recorded.

Every MOT test from new has been completed with no advisories noted. Including the most recent one. Unfortunately, the service book and spare key was assumed lost while clearing the first owners house. When I purchased the Mercedes last year, I had my servicing garage carry out a detailed inspection. They commented on how nice the car was including the underside. They are confident that the car has been very well maintained. The mileage is guaranteed correct.
A General Description of this Mercedes C Class Classic Saloon
On the Road: The car starts on the first turn of the key and the drive is just as Mercedes intended. The automatic gears change smoothly up and down the box. The engine is smooth, quiet and has a good turn of power. The steering is tight and positive and the suspension ride is excellent. The brake pads and discs are in excellent working order and all the electrical features work perfectly. This Mercedes C Class drives as good as the day it left the showroom. There are no faults at all. Everything works as it should. Testimony to the very low miles covered. The Boot Compartment: The luggage compartment is immaculate and dry. The grey carpets are perfect with very little sign of use. The boot compartment trim is unmarked. The spare tyre is fitted to a matching alloy wheel and is like new. The jack, brace and tools are all present and the warning triangle is still attached to the underside of the boot lid. The boot compartment is illuminated.
The Engine Compartment: Quite a sight to behold. The engine and surrounding interior panels are completely free from oil and dirt. The Engine compartment is regularly cleaned and polished and finished with a quality silicone.
Interior: The roof lining material is perfect. The cloth seats are also in superb order including the bolsters. The dash, doors and centre console materials are all in perfect condition and all the wood finish is highly polished and unmarked. The floor carpets front and rear are in excellent condition having been protected by optional carpet over mats since new. The carpet pile is deep and soft. The original first aid box is also present which is in the rear parcel shelf. I cannot stress enough how perfect the interior is. It is like new.
Wheels and Tyres: All four alloy wheel rims are in very condition. There is a small blemish on one which is visible on inspection. Otherwise, you will not find as much as a chip. The inner wheels are also spotlessly clean and unmarked. All four tyres were fitted new a few weeks ago. All four tyres are quality branded Uniroyal. Costing over £500.
Body Work and General Condition: As is common with any car almost twenty-four years old there will be a certain amount of wear and tear as it has been used. This Mercedes has suffered very little. There are no supermarket dents or bumper scuffs. All the panel gaps are spot on and the paintwork is stunning. Even though, if you look hard enough you will still find the odd very small blemish. Nothing that would be worthy of discussion. The underside of the car is immaculate and completely rust free. Still wearing the factory stickers. The bodywork is completely original and rust free.
So, what are you buying?
A very low mileage, original Mercedes. With a known ownership history from new. And a guaranteed low mileage from new. A perfect driving car.
