I have for sale, my lovely VFR800 50th Anniversary model. Which I bought, on a whim, between lockdowns, in August 2020. The seller was a professional photographer whose business had collapsed. As I say I bought it on a whim, I have hardly ridden it, being happy just to own it! However, as I am now approaching 80 I know that I won't be riding anymore, having decided that 4 wheels are best for me. The bike is in truly excellent condition, virtually unmarked. I believe it to have been home serviced. I have some receipts, but no actual service history. During my ownership, I have changed the oil and both filters. The steering head and front wheel bearings, both fork seals and the rear brake pads have been replaced. The DiD gold chain appears almost new as do the sprockets. The bike has a long MOY, until14/ 04/ 2025. The odometer reads in Km, I have no idea why. It is not a later import since the V5c states the original registration date to be 06/ 06/ 2000. To my knowledge, the bike wants for nothing and is ready to ride away. The VFR 800 is a highly regarded sports/ touring machine and benefits from a beautifully designed V4 engine, with gear driven camshafts - no chains in this engine! That and the very individual paintwork make this something of an icon. The V5 records only 4 former keepers.
