Description
( update, Price Drop)
I have a really nice low miles Volkswagen MK3 Golf GL that I have had for around 18 months.
A very clean and well cared for example with loads of documentation history and service records. Not modified in any way.
The car currently shows 22k on the clock while actual mileage is around 60K. There is a documented service note of the mileage change when the instrument cluster was replaced at 37k miles back in 2014. I have taken this on a few short drives and it is an absolute treat to take down the road.
Overall condition is an 8 out of 10 in my opinion. Very clean for being 30+ years old. Had been mostly garage kept in wales and only been outside consistently the last few years. Interior is 9. 5 out of 10, practically a time capsule and very clean, seats have no tears or stains, dash is healthy and uncracked.
I would love to keep it but it is not ulez compliant and it is one car too many. Ideal for someone who loves old VW's and is wanting to drive a future classic.
Recently had some shift linkage replaced as well as a new water pump/ housing/ and belts. you can drive it home and it just had an MOT at the end of April of this year so it's good until April 2025. I'm a sucker for VW's and have owned just about one of every generation. I bought this from a friend who was traveling over from the US with plans to import it to the states, but then he came onto another project so I took it off of his hands to enjoy myself.
It is genuinely one of the cleanest MK3's for the price that is original and hasn't been restored.
