Classic 1973 Austin 1300 - Only 9, 000 Miles
This exceptional classic car must be seen to be fully appreciated. With only 9, 000 miles on the clock and stored in a heated garage for the last 40 years, it’s in remarkable condition.
Originally bought brand new in 1973 by my great uncle, a farmer who primarily drove his tractor during the week, this car was used almost exclusively for Sunday church trips. It was meticulously cared for and rarely driven. When he died in 1975 it was left to his wife, but as she didn't drive it was left in a barn until it was passed onto me several years later when she died. It has been stored in our garage ever since and only driven on a rare few occasions.
Unfortunately, due to space constraints following a recent house move, I must regrettably sell it. The car will be stored indoors until it is sold and while I need the space I am in no panic to sell it.
Any inspection is welcome and the car can be driven away if desired.
Included with the car is the original log book, handbook, service book, along with an original owner’s manual, as shown in the pictures.
Please note, the current registration number will not be sold with the car. It will revert to its original plate, GIA 5889, for the new owner.
Car is in Northern IrelandIt's not very often a one owner car comes up, especially in this condition and with this mileage. The car is totally original and hasn't been restored, for this reason there are some minor blemishes on the exterior. The interior is absolutely perfect and is completely immaculate.
