Description
A 1972 right hand drive MGB Roadster originally registered on 8 Nov 1972.
Jaguar Racing Green heritage shell with chrome bumpers and wire (not chrome) wheels - the body work is very good with a few minor blemishes.
Tan leather interior with a mahogany imitation dashboard and motolite steering wheel - some patina on the crash top rail/ dashboard top vinyl.
Inertia reel seatbelts and a bluetooth enabled removable stereo and a fitted radio antenna
I have removed the cigarette lighter and replaced it with 4 way indicator switch; the electrical circuit runs without the ignition and it has a Smith clock fitted
The car has been regularly driven and is mechanically very sound. It has recently had a full tune and toured around northern Spain.
Since I acquired the car in 2021 I have replaced/ fitted the following:
New distributor
New fuel pump
New front shocks
New clutch sleeve cylinder
New battery
New fuel gauge
New dashboard fascia and centre console
New starter motor
The roof has a small stain on it
The car comes with a new tonneau cover
If the asking price is met I will include a 4 ply winter cover and a summer cover, wheel chocks and a high quality fabric bag that attaches as a boot rack. I will also include an MGB flying hat and scarf.
The car has a spare tyre, a jack and a wheel malletA beautiful example of a historic car, I bought it to drive rather than look at but personal circumstances have allowed me drive it less than it deserves. Tax exempt.
