Sadly selling as I have too many Marinas!
This had been laid up for 20 years or so until a few months ago. It’s had a lot of recommissioning including the following, either by us or the previous owner:
Polyurethane tie bar bushes
New brake pads
Rebuilt brake calipers
New brake master cylinder
Electronic ignition
New thermostat
New clutch
New clutch slave cylinder
New fuel sender unit
New fuel hoses
New tyres
New steering rack bush
New rear wheel cylinders
New rear brake shoes
New propshaft centre bearing
According to the clocks it’s done 34k miles which I can believe- the engine is very quiet and the gearbox is one of the nicest Marina ones I have felt. I have driven it a few times and it drives nicely.
I haven’t poked around underneath too much but the chassis rails all look to be in excellent condition along with the spring hangers. The front jacking points have been replaced at some point. Up top the wings have had some repair patches in the past. Not the neatest job but better than holes! The wing bottoms by the front valance are crusty. There’s some flaking paint in these areas which makes it look worse than it is. It’s had various areas of paint, some better than others! It was Ziebarted when new which has definitely helped it survive!
The seats have suffered with age, I am guessing it has spent some time parked in the sun! The carpet has faded too but could be redyed. The rest of the interior is in nice clean condition.
An ideal Marina to use and improve!
