This numbers matching 1977 Porsche 911S is the last year for the Narrow G Body and is registered to its 2nd owner, for past 41 years. As a reliable summer month driver, it has been serviced by the same Service Shop since purchase in 1983.
Major service work includes refreshed engine in 1997, the front seats were redone with a Tan leatherette and the carpets were replaced (wrong material was used) and a recommended complete Carpet Set Kit would be suggested. The factory engine was rebuilt by a well known Porsche engine rebuilder with approx 95k Kilometers on rebuild. The shifter linkage was also recently refurbished along with a new engine bay sound pad installed. The body and paint are in very good condition, there are a couple small door dents and small bump on the left side of front bumper. The factory 15" Fuchs wheels are in good condition with updated tires. The car has been regularly service with annual oil change, a fix list from the owner. The car is finished in Sahara Beige and powered by a 2. 7-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. This 911 shows 294k Kilometers on the clock and is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the owner’s manual, service records, & removed parts. The car was finished from the factory in Sahara Beige and has been refinished under current ownership, and touch-up paint was applied around the body. The seller notes evidence of prior body work on the drivers-side door and right rear quarter which were done. The 15″ silver and black Fuch forged alloy wheels mounted with GENERAL A/ S tires measuring 215/ 60 R15. A space-saver spare is stored in the front trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The factory ride height has been maintained and replacement of many of the front and rear suspension and brake components has been done over the years. The original 3 spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that consists of a 150-mph speedometer, a centrally mounted tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 294k Kilometers. The 2. 7-liter flat-six features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and was fitted with updated Carrera oil fed timing chain tensioner kit at the time of the engine rebuild. The original 7-blade cooling fan has been retained and additional work consisted of a valve adjustment and replacement, air filter, brakes and spark plugs. The seller notes 911 Coupe starts easily, the engine runs smooth with good power and has your typical oil leaks coming from engine ie valve covers.
