2004 Mercedes SLK 200 R170 Automatic
New MOT to 21/ 06/ 2025
86000 miles. Last serviced at 81555 miles. Only driven 838 miles last year hence reason for sale.
I’ve owned it since August 2022. Last year the discs and pads were replaced all round and a couple of brake pipes were replaced for the MOT this year.
Everything works including the Vario roof and the car drives very nice indeed. The previous owner had the front wings replaced so these don’t have the usual rust that every other SLK seems to have and the wheels were refurbished and powder coated and angel eye headlights fitted for better light output. All in all a very tidy low mileage example of this future classic.
The only issue the car has is a slow coolant leak which I haven’t got round to getting looked at as I’ve just been topping up the coolant every few weeks when the low level warning has come on.
This is the last model year of the R170 (a better looking car than its replacement in my opinion) and this is one of the “Special Edition” models with the nappa leather seats, Special Edition alloy wheels, leather trimmed roll hoops and brushed aluminium trim which looks a lot nicer than the standard equipment. Comes with two keys and owners manual pack.
Only selling as I have treated myself to a 1967 Triumph Spitfire and don’t have the space to keep it.
