We are selling this Lotus Elan on behalf of a friend and it will be a bit of a project car for someone hence the asking price being considerably lower than top condition examples with similar miles. They have owned the vehicle since 2003 and are the 4th owners. As per the MOT history, for the last 10 years the car has covered much less than 1000 each year, it’s last MOT was carried out end of April 2024 with various advisories. The car runs and drives but could do with some tuning as can be a little rough. The paintwork isn’t too bad but there are areas on the bonnet and certain other places where there is lacquer peel so will need some restorative paintwork on a few panels. The hood has some tears in it so might need repairing or replacing. Seats are generally in good condition for the age, the gear lever could do with restoring or replacing as it’s worn. Books are present and there is some service history and paperwork available. The vehicle is available to view but strictly by appointment only as it is not with us at our showroom. This Lotus is being sold as a project so is sold as seen. Open to offers.
