Pristine Investment Grade Bike
Three owners since new, kept in a heated front room most of its life. Possibly the lowest mileage original Gen 1 bike in the country - only 2450 miles since new (now over 24 years old). This will always be the bike remembered for turning the 1, 000cc sport bike market upside down when it first went on sale in 2010. Still an unreal bike to ride - close to 200bhp. Quickshifter, abs, wheelie control, traction control - a bike way ahead of its time. This bike has the factory offered Akropovic which is lovely but the original also comes with the bike (brand new).
I bought it from a gentleman in 2021 and have loved my time with her, but I’ve only done around 1000 miles in 3 years and it’s time for it to go to its next owner. I’ve no doubt that this will be a great future classic, especially if the rumours of BMW S1000rr coming to an end are true.
The bike is such a great example, it was featured in FastBikes magazine in 2023 alongside the new model for testing. The write up speaks volumes to the condition of this bike and means the bike has some great history.
The bike has a full BMW service history (the bike was not in use between 2011 and 2021)i with three stamps and the most recent undertaken in summer 2022 at 1900 miles.
In absolutely stunning condition, only two very minor issues - a paint chip on the rear wheel (as shown) and a small tear on the rear passenger seat (also shown). Other than that, this bike is spotless and as new. Never seen rain, or wet roads. Cleaned after every ride.
This must be the most original Gen 1 bike in the UK. First to see will buy. I’m in no rush to sell, but will listen to sensible non-derogatory offers. This is a one off bike, you will not find another like this in this condition.
