This Iconic Triumph Bonneville T120 was an American import but built to the UK speck hence it being a T120 and Not a T120R, first registered in the UK in 1984, it has matching numbers and registered with an age related plate, although the odometer reading is 15500 it has done 582 miles since it was fully re-built, I bought the bike locally from a collector and have had the bike for the past two and half years.
it is true to the UK speck factory build and a great example of its year.
the log book shows 5 previous owners, it is as clean as the day it was restored starts and runs well, MOT exempt, Tax Exempt, cheap insurance, and looks great.
still very usable and completely comfortable with modern traffic conditions.
a true and timeless classic. The 1964 Triumph Bonneville holds significance for a few reasons,
The 1964 Triumph Bonneville was indeed one of the first road motorcycles capable of reaching 125 mph. Its 650cc parallel-twin engine produced around 46 horsepower, allowing it to achieve impressive speeds for its time. The Bonneville’s combination of performance, style, and heritage made it a true classic in motorcycling history.
While the frame remained largely unchanged, the front forks were new for 1964. They featured external springs covered in rubber gators, and the upper fork covers were painted gloss black with chromed lower sliders.
this bike is a great example of what's available today. this Bonneville will always be a sought after classic, it holds and will continue to hold its value above the other models due to this being the first year of the 125mph Bonneville's produced. gold and Alaskan white was the colour of this years production making it easy to identify.
