The previous owner had her 18 years then a lady before him , the car has 63000 miles recorded but closer scrutiny at the stamped service history book ( see images ) and previous MOT records show a change of speedometer back in 2007 at around 36000 so the total miles will be around 99000 , The original Ford handbook pack is fully complete as the images show including the last year of old type tax disc issue 2015.
The interior is in remarkable condition even down to its Ford System 2000 CD Radio which unfortunately has its security flip panel missing but are easily replaced .
The exterior is also completely original and free from dents or damage however as the images show will require attention to the rear wheel arch area which has rotted out and is typical of Fiestas of this period this is likely to be an MOT failure area so will require attending to as the current MOT has expired and the car has been laid up for a number of months , There is corrosion to the bottom of the front wings where they meet the door and body kit also some paint rust on that area of the door surface . With the exception of the occasional minor bumper scuff the exterior paint looks excellent and original so my own suggestion would be to confine the repairs to the affected areas ive mentioned and preserve the originality of everything else .
The original wheels have survived remarkable well and with the exception of one scuffed alloy are superb as are the tyres which look fairly new ,
The factory S body kit does not appear to have damage or cracks .
Even has a cool ‘ WOA’ number plate
The battery was flat when I collected her but she fired up easily off a jump and drives superbly.
I was going to give her to my son as his first project to get him motivated into the classic car scene but to be honest hes not bothered .
