Restoration Project.
Fancy something ultra-rare (Only 14 in the UK!), rear-wheel drive, 50/ 50 weight distribution and excellent fun on road and track?!
Unfortunately the time has come to part ways with my beloved project car.
Shell is solid with small areas of surface rust - it was dry stored for 30 years but under cover for the last 2 years and now in need of some love!
I started a transformation into a dedicated track car a couple of years ago, initially adding Gaz Gold single adjustable coil-overs all round, changing the wheels (Superlights), tyres, Stainless 2" exhaust and some interior mods (Sparco front seats, Selholm tuning shortened shifter, Tegiwa harness bar, Sabelt 4-point harnesses, oil press, oil temp and voltage guages, battery isolation switch and a Momo steering wheel hub).
Even on the standard engine the car is great fun to drive as it only weights 900 kg.
Sadly I have run out of money and time to finish the project as I am still at University, and it is time for someone else to complete its next chapter.
In addition to the above the car is coming with:
Full set of Poly bushes for the suspension.
Poly engine mounts.
New gearbox mounts.
Sachs 4-puck clutch and heavy duty pressure plate for Renault flywheel.
1. 8 Renault F7P 16v engine stripped and ready for rebuild.
Comes with wiring harness, ECU and performance chip, intake and exhaust manifolds.
Loads of other spares!
Be aware the paint needs attention, some surface rust and scratching where plastic trim has been removed etc. Some minor welding probably needed (rear of one sill).
Quaife ATB LSD (QDF17J) is available at an extra cost with the car.
