After 2. 5 years of ownership, I’m selling my 2006 Volvo V70 D5SE.
It is in exceptionally good condition all round, much better than average. The bodywork and interior are in excellent condition for the age of the car & would put many 3 year old cars to shame.
Mileage: just under 138, 000 miles. A new MOT last month with no advisories.
In my ownership, I’ve done the following work:
New swirl flaps and camshaft seals.
New cambelt and genuine Volvo water pump.
New aux belt and all tensioners and alternator pulley.
Engine oil & filter changes every 5, 000 miles.
Refurbished alloys and new tyres, all still in great condition with no curbing.
A few modifications:
XC90 front brake conversion with 335mm disks.
Stage 2 remap, which gives a huge boost in overtaking torque & makes the car much more drivable with no noticeable effect on fuel consumption.
Three spoke sport steering wheel.
Spaceball gear lever (6 speed manual gearbox).
The original audio system (HU850) was faulty and has been replace with a good Alpine unit with Bluetooth, including steering wheel controls. After this change, unfortunately the reversing sensors are lost as they are integral with the Volvo head unit.
I fitted an oil pressure gauge as seen in the photos, this does not work properly & I will remove it if I have time, also the ‘phone holder; the dash mount will remain with the car.
LED driving lights in a slightly modified front grill. Car does some with an original standard grill too.
Everything I’ve done to this car is recorded on a spreadsheet with receipts.
The car has heated electric seats and power-fold mirrors. Also a full set of genuine Volvo rear window blinds and carpets. Dog guard and boot liner.
The car comes with its original plate: OY06PEO. The V5C registration document in my name is present, together with owners handbook, original service book and two original Volvo keys. With genuine Volvo carpet-mats.
Price is £2, 500 ovno -this reflects the condition. Quite unusual in this condition.
