This particular car is very well know to the Audi 100 Coupe classic car club and some of the 5 previous owners were senior members of the club. Knowing its provenance, I purchased the car in the summer of 2021 after the previous owner had restored it via a full respray and reupholstered interior. After the purchase, I spent a considerable amount of time and expense to take it through a mechanical overhaul to get it fully running and working. Even through the car is MOT exempt, I did one to satisfy myself of its roadworthiness and it sailed through.
I purchased the car assuming I will use it regularly. However, in the years since, I have only managed to drive it a couple hundred miles. I have also relocated abroad, and so with a heavy heart I am selling to someone who will cherish the car, and have the opportunity to use it a lot more than I did.
