2006 ‘56’ RS4 Avant
• ~112, 000k miles
• 2 keys plus original service key
• Original RS4 wallet and book pack
• 7 former keepers prior to me
• MOT due 21st September 2024. It’s not had an advisory since 2012.
Factory spec:
• Sprint Blue Pearl with matt aluminium trim
• Heated bucket seats
• Centre armrest
• Carbon inlays
• Flat-bottom steering wheel
• Solar sunroof
• Cruise control
• RNSE with Bose
Modifications:
• DRC removed, replaced with Koni Shocks and H&R -20mm springs.
• Custom X-pipe fitted to the exhaust replacing centre resonator. Standard back boxes with valve control via the ‘Sport’ button on the steering wheel.
• Exhaust pre-cats ‘gutted’ for more flow – Secondary air injection removed and mapped out. Passes MOT fine as standard 200 cell sports cats still in place.
• Sachs performance clutch and lightened flywheel (fitted @ 78k by a previous owner).
• Intake manifold flaps removed, to avoid common problem of the screws coming loose and destroying the engine.
• Standard air filter replaced with a dry panel filter – it’s also blue and matches the paint!
• Had multiple carbon cleans in its history, the latest in June 21 @ 99k.
• MRC Stage 2 map applied by CM Tuning to bring together the various modifications. It makes ~430bhp and there’s the trademark kick at 5k rpm when the VVT kicks in.
• Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tyres all round, fitted in 2021 and loads of tread, OSR brand new due to puncture.
• Original 19” alloys in good condition having been refurbed by the previous owner.
Servicing:
• 18 recorded services.
• Service history is a combination of Audi, AMD, VAGTech, CM Tuning and a couple of less noteworthy independents. There are receipts for everything totalling ~£20k.
• ~6k spent in last three years, notable items it’s had:
o Annual services including all filters and spark plugs etc.
o 8 new, OE Hitachi, flow tested injectors
o 2 new lambda sensors (one for each bank) fitted when the exhaust work was done
o Two new front suspension arms when the springs were fitted, together with new top mounts, spring pads etc.
o Gearbox oil, rear diff oil, fuel filters, PCV housing etc.
o Literally anything Chris @ CM Tuning has said it’s needed.
• Prior to my ownership it’s had many of the common items including new oil cooler pipes, new aux radiator and a strengthened clutch pipe.
The car was professionally detailed and a 7 year ceramic coating applied to the car and wheels.
