Description
Total body-off restoration early two thousands. Bare metal repaint in Imperial maroon. Re-upholstered in correct Bedford cloth. Rechromed brightwork. Much stainless. Converted to 12 volt electrics. Wide band whitewall tyres. Stainless trim rings. Hydraulic brakes with servo assistance (really good), Telescopic shock absorbers, Front anti-roll bar to improve driveability in modern traffic. Mild engine tune gives excellent performance so power brakes well worthwhile. Excellent runner, no smoke, no noises, good oil pressure, twin cylinder head temp gauges. Twin exhaust system gives subtle throaty V8 growl. Beautiful condition throughout and a joy to drive. Mine for seven years now and only for sale to make room for my new project. Sadly something always has to go unless you have endless storage space. I have no documentary paperwork other than a V5C in my name, owner's manual and some receipts for replacement parts. The import docs were lost during a move. However, the car speaks for itself and is a real eyeful, drawing attention and admiration whenever I take it out.
