1981 yamaha IT 465cc 2 stroke.
Wouldn’t let me put the right specification on the header but it’s a IT 465.
This bike is a rescue from a garage in Belfast. Sitting alone with a stuck clutch, filthy fuel lines and tank and a few other things that just needed done.
Since this has been removed form despair I have cleaned it up a bit. Cleaned out the tank, changed the fuel lines, added transmission oil and u stuck the clutch and currently waiting on someone to come round to get her started.
I know very little on mechanical maintenance of motorbikes.
So here we are. I’m wanting to seek this beauty to the right person who wants to make a few quid on a refurbishment and resale as the reason for the price.
Wheels are fine
No punctures
Shocks fine
brakes fine
Could do with manifold inlet connector and a new air box.
Other than that should be fine.
Still has good compression in the kickstart.
Will be easy to get going for someone who know what there at.
If you know your bikes you’ll know what to do with her and what she’ll be worth.
