Description
This is my completely original Vauxhall Astra 1300 S Estate. It starts and drives really well, and is perfectly capable of being a daily driver. It sits happily at 65/ 70 on the motorway, and is a lovely car to drive around town and country roads. The headliner could be replaced, or given a good scrub, but it doesn't really bother me, so have left it, and there is a bit of paint bubbling on the bonnet, but again, very minor for a car of this age. I recently changed the battery, and have had it serviced and given it an MOT (which it passed with no advisories). The car is lacking documentation, but I bought it from a mechanic in Bristol about a year ago who clearly loved this car and had it for about 2 years. He drove it daily.
The car is ULEZ free, tax exempt and extremely cost effective to own. It is a real head turner, and brings a smile to people's faces. It reminds us all of a simpler time, where you felt connected to a car when you drive it. This is an absolute time capsule, and you are transported straight to the 80s. It oozes cool when you compare this to modern cars it meets on its travels ;-)
