This is a rare and lovely car with very low mileage of 85, 500.

History - This car was purchased new as a Diplomatic Vehicle.
Bought by Captain D Warrier - and taken to Germany initially.
Comes with original invoice from Volvo Tourist & Diplomatic Sales, with 3 sets of keys, original manuals & service booklet - all for Diplomatic cars.
Then bought back to UK and used till retired - only 3 other owners; always garaged during its life.

Full service in August 2024 by specialist mechanic who knows 240s; including new fuel regulator & bearings replaced.
Car will drive anywhere, we've been on holiday to Cornwall & Cotswold's recently/ didn't miss a beat/ drove well & never overheated even on M25!
You could drive this to Scotland and back.
MOT until Oct 2025 - tester commented on how clean car is underneath & pointed out many new Volvo parts that had been added over the years. Car always garaged.
The car is now 31 years old - and has some slight rust on rear wheel arches, a few scratches. She was resprayed a few years ago, by a previous owner & the roof & bonnet are not perfect - but never an issue.
Car will drive anywhere / is economical and cheap to insure and tax.
Insurance fully comp is under £120 for 2 drivers
