1966 Volvo 1800 in White with black leather. Lovely condition having been completely rebuilt and restored at “the P1800 Specialist” in 2018 and maintained by Simon Borrell ever since. Everything works perfectly…other than the clock!
It is standard other than a lovely leather dash top, electronic ignition, poly-bushed suspension, and a hidden amplifier and speakers (phone connection). Genuine minilites and period correct spot lamps complete the ‘Simon Templar’ look! It was converted to run on unleaded petrol when rebuilt. I have used as a daily driver for a few years - cruising on the motorway at 70mph in overdrive and happily dealing with stop-start London traffic. It really is an amazingly usable classic. The only downside I have found is that you have to get comfortable with people staring, taking photos and asking questions. People seem to love these…you certainly get let out in traffic!
I’m selling as I just don’t use it enough these days. It’s not concourse (they go for £45k plus), but it is in all round excellent condition. I do not have any history pre 2018, but I have everything since, having been serviced by the man who built the car.
