FOR SALE as a project, 1952 Jaguar XK120 SE FHC LHD, full numbers matching with rare and valuable Type C head. In the description below there is over £75k of invoices from the best XK companies in the business such as Guy Broad, Twyford Moors, Leaping Cats and Coventry Auto. Unfortunately I am moving home, losing my workshop facilities and have to sell. Throughout the build I have followed the Bernard Viart XK120 explored bible. I have 1, 000s of photos of rebuild and videos of car running and driving before I started the project. I’m not aware of any significant missing parts. I can arrange transport of car and all parts to anywhere in UK. I am looking for offers over £30k. Car is in Wiltshire and can be viewed upon request. My contact details;
• Car was bought from Driver Source, Texas, USA on 21st October 2015 for $49, 500. 00
• Shipped at a cost of £2, 283. 69 with £1, 800 VAT paid
• Full UK registration, 625 UYP, V5 available upon request
• Numbers matching with both UK and US Heritage certificates
• Chassis blasted to bare metal, multi layer black paint and Dinitrol ML S331 cavity wax sprayed inside all voids
• Chassis rebuild used all original fastenings which were blasted and galvanised. All suspension parts were blasted and sprayed black. New brake & fuel pipes. Full SuperPro ploybush all round, new leaf springs (£400), front shocks (£300) with reconditioned rear shocks (£471).
• Fossway disc brake conversion (£1, 730), new rear drums & handbrake parts (£774), rare duel master cylinder upgrade (£602).
• Original rear axil rebuilt by Twyford Moors (£3, 267)
• Original steering column and rack rebuilt by Guy Broad (£1, 369)
• New alloy fuel by Guy Broad (£861)
• I spent £23, 868 with Guy Broad on a full show standard rebuild service:
1. Engine full rebuild
2. Type C head rebuild and polish
3. SU carbs rebuild and polish
4. New distributor, starter motor
5. New 5 speed gearbox, flywheel and conversion (I still have original box)
6. New prop shaft

• Body rebuild has included over £4, 500 of panels from Leaping Cats:
1. New sills, A posts and B posts
2. New rear bulkhead
3. New floors
4. Complete rear end rebuild inc 2 new wings and wooden floors
• Body rebuild work remaining; re-skin new boot frame, door rebuild, front wings back on and I was going to get a new front headlight pod panel section from Leaping Cats but front can just be patched
• Throughout the build I have followed the Bernard Viart XK120 explored bible, sourcing correct BSF and UNF bolts, nuts and washers
• Other parts include; numbers matching wiper motor from US (£350), new ash boot frame from Guy Broad (£474), replacement original front grill imported from US (£827), 8 original 54 spoke wheelsI bought the car as it was high spec SE with type C head that was complete and running. I always planned to take it apart and then nut and bolt restore using the best companies in the XK world to help me add a few modern upgrades.
