last rode by myself racing around the streets with 'Les motos rapides' at the Grande prix retro in Le Puy Notre Dame in France this July. l do the occaisional road rally.
l think this is the last year before Ariel started to cut corners ie the fine detail such as the fork ends and the beautiful finish of the cylinder base for example..
Has its orig reg number and of course matching frame and engine n°.
engine stamped with a T indicates tested at the factory to 80 mph.
total loss oil system, orig Amac TT carb. (no needle in these)
incredibly it does over 70miles per gallon
l bought this bike about 10 yrs ago, stripped and checked and after painting, magneto rebuild (Bill Brown -Brightspark) etc l have used it every year since
at least at the above rally. It is a fabulous thing to ride.
