Regrettable sale of my HJ61, 1988 Turbo diesel 12HT. Very cool everywhere you go heads turn. She is champagne gold over gunmetal grey with original 1980’s stunning graphics. Toyota were keen to tell you about their new Turbo flagship Land Cruiser. Turbo is on the grill, on the body, on the seats and even a turbo light comes on the dash.
This can’t be stressed enough she is 122, 000 mile (199, 000KMS) rust free car. It’s very low mileage and are a lot more money in Japan now. The engine is a 12HT 4, 000cc beast, she pulls strong, can cruiser at over 70mph no problem. No smoke no leaks just as it should be, perfect oil pressure.
The exterior paint is very good, the interior is very good, no cracks in the dash, all is original. The drivers seat bottom right bluster should be reupholstered at some point, the seats are original Recaros, very cool very comfortable.
Has a tow bar but I have never towed with it, factory winch, Bridgestone CV 928 alloys 16” not 15” like most JDM, clean MOT. I have changed all the oils and filters, suspension bushes etc.
its very original, total rust free. She is ready for adventure, these are the best Landcruiser to collect and are going up all the time. All works including the sunroof.
