Pretty much perfect R107 500 SL V8 Panzerwagen in bright red with mushroom interior, factory fitted hard top and rear seats. Aircon, Blaupunkt Stereo, Cruise Control and after market parking aids. Rear seat and detachable wind deflector.
Body work in excellent condition and lots of history (any inspection welcome) . My car for 10 years with minimal total mileage, 60670miles. Always serviced and dry stored. MOT 11 months, full service just completed.
Selling from my small collection of classics. Having owned 4 SLs I’ve always loved them but this was my favourite. Built to the highest standards long before Chrysler got hold of them but almost at the end of the 18 year run of 107 SLs - no design flaws remained by that time.
The detachable hard top meant that I always got a “new car” every winter when the hard top went on (not that this particular one has seen a winter road for over a decade).
