This Yamaha Tenere xt600 3AJ from 1989 is a great addition to your motorcycle collection. I bought this vintage Dakar winning motorcycle simply from its history of the Dakar Races back in the 80/ 90s and well its safe to say this bike is amazing. This bike was imported from Germany restored mechanically and then was imported before lockdown for a paint restoration in Scotland. This bike has been fully serviced and well looked after.
The "Bumblebee" is nearly 35 years old so do not expect a perfect bike, it rattles, shakes and is rough and ready. Bikes like these are designed for sand raider events and tough terrain not on the roads on road tyres. Use it to its true purpose and you will get the most out of it. The bike feels amazingly balanced sat down and on the pegs.
