Supplied in February 1960 this 2 Door Morris Minor is the base model in Pearl Grey with red interior and carpets, and still carries its original registration issued in Bournmouth. Amazingly It has covered less than 9000 miles from new and has never been damaged or welded.
The original owner passed in 1972 (the Morris still retains this tax disc) and his wife retained the Minor for 42 years in a dry environment until 2016 when a friend of the couple undertook a light recommissioning. The Morris has covered around 400 miles since, more recently in July 2023 the Minor had a full lubrication service costing almost £500 which included a new fuel pump and battery. In the last few months a new Water pump, fan belt and Dynamo have been fitted and the Minor runs beautifully.
The interior is as new with all the original carpets, headlining and door rubbers and trim in perfect condition. The original tool kit and Jack are present, and there are receipts for the recommission in the history file, that contains the Factory Record Heritage Certificate. This has to be one of the lowest mileage untouched Morris Minors in existence and only serious enquiries are welcome, for sale due to the loss of garage space.
