Description
The ULH is a high compression sports model manufactured by Harley Davidson from 1937-1941. In 1939 384 bikes were made.(1 is in Harley museum which I saw at Guggenheim Wheels through Time in NY.
2 are in Holland and I know of 1 in Spain, there pretty rare.)
I bought this in 1999 from a personal museum from a relative of my ex girlfriend)
The previous owner I think was being duped by his restorers in New York.
I had bike shipped to Rome Italy and proceeded to ride it then it seized.
On strip down motor was a mess
So I rebuilt bike and have been riding it constantly with some breaks due to travelling for work .
I’ve made upgrades for riding but have all original parts to put back on linkert , ignition key, primary cases , buddy seat parts , front hub, some rare trim and bags and lots of odds and ends.(to be negotiated)
Matching belly numbers.
USA title in my name.
Bike has been modified to ride but to put back to 100% AMA specs easily done.
Frame and forks are 1939 as is engine and cycle parts.
This is not a WL ( the sluggish 3 speed 750) which most people come up and tell me it is.
I’ve done a 100mph+on it
Rode from Rome to Barcelona.
Pisa to Faak am zee.
And other big trips.

Delivery can be arranged and start up test rides.
I just started the bike after a 2 year lay up
I cleaned the carb, which I forgot to drain.
Charged battery , cleaned plugs(before cleaning in pic.)
After 2 prime kicks choked ign. off started 1st kick ign. on.“Flat is where it’s at”
