Description
This is a lovely honest classic in outstanding condition. It has recently had a full service including timing chain, all fluids, new tyres and brake shoes/ cylinders/ hoses.
It has 18000 miles on the Speedo and although I don’t have extensive paperwork its original markings, interior and overall condition warrant this. I have the original buff log book, some paperwork until the 80’s and then a gap until 2015 so I assume it was dry stored.
I was using it as a daily driver until a year ago when children took over and I parked it in the garage. While there I have cleaned all electrical items ensuring they work as should and spent meticulous hours on paint correction, repairing any minor imperfections before a three stage polish. It is completely rust free and I would like to think the paint is original as I can’t see any previous welding.
Car is now back on the road and looking great, only minor detail is a slightly bearing whir in the drivetrain. Open to offers. Originally owned by Carlisle taxation office where the car remained until 2015.
