Description

I am offering a BMW 335/ 3 from 1939, representing the pinnacle of BMW's pre-war production. This model was manufactured between 1939 and 1941, with only 410 units produced, some of which were used as command vehicles for the Wehrmacht. Only around 20 examples are believed to have survived worldwide, with probably only two in the Czech Republic.

Weight: 1300 kg
Fuel Consumption: Approx. 16 l/ 100 km

Condition of the Vehicle:
The restoration was carried out 50 years ago – some parts are not original (carburetor, turn signals), but the core is well-preserved. The vehicle has the following issues:
Carburetor (it is not original and cannot handle the engine's performance – it needs to be replaced),
Fuel injection valve of one cylinder (it is burnt and the cylinder misfires up to 2000 RPM – needs repair),
Some parts are not original (repairs were carried out approximately 50 years ago).
In order for the vehicle to be in perfect condition, it needs to be repainted. The owner estimates the cost of the engine repair at approximately EUR 4, 000, and repainting at EUR 20, 000.
Despite these shortcomings, the car is drivable, functional, and well-preserved, with no rust.

The BMW 335 was the brand's first luxury sedan, designed as an "Autobahnwagen" – a vehicle made for high-speed highway travel. It shares its technical foundation with the BMW 326 but features an extended wheelbase and a more powerful engine. Notable features include integrated main headlights in the fenders, vertical hood vents, and a equipped interior. This vehicle has been inherited from an ancestor. Due to the reinforced metal plate in the rear part of the body, we assume that this piece was manufactured for the Wehrmacht.
