Description
Reluctant sale of my 1. 2 Seicento SX, I was on the look out for a 1 owner, low mileage run around for quite some time last year and bought this in October '24. It has an incredible (mostly dealer supplying) service history, every year even with miniscule mileage some years. Over £2k in receipts present and a great mot history overall.
Showing just over 24, 000 miles from new she feels great to drive and like new.
She has a sunroof.. no signs of leaks or any corrosion around the seal. I've not had it open as yet!
I immediately set to work on detailing and preserving the chassis and inner wings suspension etc after cleaning with a combination of Bilt Hamber hydrate 80 and UB/ UC underbody waxes as well as S50 in every cavity, nook and cranny, doors etc! As such I didn't even use it over winter and since just an occasional dry day commute or school run!
Sei's can be prone to rear brake issues come mot time and this was addressed for the last mot back in September. It's a design issue with cables being routed as per left hand drive cars apparently so most you'll look at will have a comment on rear brakes at some point in their lives but no big deal!
I had the cambelt changed at a local garage along with new water pump and coolant plus the auxiliary belt in November and comes with a years guarantee from said garage. The belt had been changed some years ago and looked ok but due for time for added piece of mind.
I also cleaned and undercoated and repainted/ clearcoated the wheel trims as they had faded. They look great now.
During my time underneath her I also refreshed the gearbox oil and engine oil with Fiat spec Petronas and Selenia oils even though she was serviced around 200 miles ago.
The original owner hadn't even fitted the original face off Sony stereo and comes with it's case.
Both keys are present and still retain the supplying dealer key fobs! Even the original number plates are dealer supplied with logo.
I'm located in a village outside Peterborough (north) and happy to collect you from the train station (15/ 20mins away) if required and available anytime for viewings as work locally for myself. She's running beautifully and only letting her go as a new vehicle I couldn't pass up has become available and I need to let this and another car go for both funds and space. She would make an ideal second, third or occasional use car to preserve the mileage or a great starter classic as not a common sight on the road.
This one has the rarer full blue seats with a nice design in superb condition which look great against the body colour and have no wear or marks at all. I've had a cover on the driver's seat since owning her.
The boot space is clean and shows no signs of corrosion which can be present in the wheel arches.
Thanks for taking time to read this epic advert but wanted to cover all the points of it's merits and the work and love I poured into her!
A charming little Fiat which will provide years of reliable service.
