Amateur restoration about 55 years ago ! Series 2 R16. RARE ! All correct numbers except crankcase was changed from a series 3 R11. Some spares and new bits go with the bike. Have owned this bike since around 2000. Not running. Almost all parts are original . Old age dictates sale. Interesting history, believed to have been brought to Canada when new circa 1931 by a prominent Canadian family. Speedometer rebuilt in Switzerland. New gas cap. Lots of new parts to help in the restoration. Lots of experience crating and shipping from Montreal . I use Bollore Shipping, very reasonable and reliable. Around $1200- $1500 to a French port like LeHavre. Just one of the coolest looking Beemers ever. Not many R16's were made.
