Agreed Valuation Certified from Lancaster Insurance at £31, 000. Accepting £24, 000 or offers. Megan (the car) is beautiful and most enjoyable to drive. People up here in Argyll wave when we drive through Oban and families take selfies with her when we picnic with her on Ganavan Sands. She is not only beautiful but reliable. I have cruised past cars stalled in thunderstorms, and given lifts to passengers from broken down trains in Cambridgeshire. She has ample room for two, or, with the passenger seat removed, and the roof down, enough headroom to deliver a large potted tree that would not fit in a modern saloon car. She likes weddings and gets invited frequently.
Her new owner will be happy to drive a car built in the mid-nineteen hundreds, when seatbelts were for jet pilots, front wheel drive was for forklift trucks and only racing pushbikes had more than four forward gears. Due to changes in our lives, we have to say good-bye to her, but will continue to cherishing the great time we had together. We hope her new companions can pave her way to many new adventures!
