This is a very original, clean and solid example with only 4 previous keepers. It drives superbly with a very smooth gear change. I have a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and an insurance valuation certificate of £12, 000.
I purchased the XK8 from a specialist garage in Berkhamsted in January 2016 and it has always been garaged at my home.
I had all the leather reconditioned by a specialist upholsterer.
All servicing and repairs, including:
Gearbox service, with filter and in-box wiring loom,
Power hood service with new hydraulic fluid,
The removal of the front subframe with new v mounts, new suspension and steering bushes,
Both the oil feed pipes to the oil cooler have been remanufactured ,
New rear springs have also been fitted.
All the repairs and servicing has been carried out by a specialist Jaguar mechanic.
I have had 4 new Goodyear tyres fitted.
I have a full service history. It has just passed the MOT with no advisories, therefore the MOT is now till July 26I purchased the XK8 as a replacement for my old Mazda MX5 which started to become a little small and cramped. When I saw this car I though it a great colour, especially with the tonneau cover.
