Description
For sale is my 1934 Morris Minor Van. Looking at the records it has had 4 former keepers since 1934 this vehicle was first registered on the 18th of May 1934. I purchased the vehicle from a gentleman based in the Ormskirk, West Lancashire District area of Lancashire, at this point it had undergone a re bodying project from a saloon to a van of which at the time I was looking for. The previous owner who I bought this from had carried out the re bodying, much more work has been carried out whilst in my possession however with work commitments I have never had the time to really appreciate it. The engine turns and its fairly clean and tidy all round as you can see from the photos which gives you good Idea of the condition but it`s not concourse. I would say it needs some keener enthusiast or a business owner to take it a step further, would make a good advertising feature for a business.
I would suggest the van may make an ideal wedding/ festival or events item. Used as a mobile gin or prosecco/ coffee bar to add a unique and special touch. Any future owner may want to hire it out, indeed provide a bar service in person, the scope is endless.
This would add an original and vintage touch to any event.
Have driven it on the odd occasion, but a new battery is now required, this is a 6-volt electrical system. The carburettor fitted is a completely refurbished Item but needs setting up properly. I have since commenced a new business and need the space for this venture. Any interest please contact me. The vehicle comes with a V5 also have some spares which I`ll have to look for, any I find will be with the van. Unfortunately, I don`t have any particular history for the van. Whilst I guess it`s probably had quite an interesting life. The speedo reading as stated is showing 41 miles, I can confirm that the original speedo was unrepairable once inspected by Speedo graph Richfield. The distributor has been refurbished by the distributor doctor.
